Name, Number, and Scale Plans using AI

We have a few options for scaling plans. The first option is to scale the plans using the scale drop down at the top of your screen. You can choose the drop down scale as needed. You should also see the option in the drop down for Using Known Dimension. To scale plans using known dimensions, , we will need to locate an existing dimension on our plans, once located, now select the Using Know Dimension Feature and enter the Dimension noted on the plans and select start. Select one side of the dimension line and then go to the other side and select the end of the dimension line. But, in zzTakeoff you can also use a built in AI feature that will scale all of the plan sheets that have a scale noted. To do this, just locate the scale callout on any of the plan sheets, and drag your mouse over it while holding the left side of your mouse down, then release and select Scale. You should now see all the plan sheets listed out. You can Batch scale all of them or, you can now select the sheets that you wish to scale, once ready select batch scale. All the sheets that were scaled will have a plus icon to the right of the page name in the pages tab. Be sure to check them all for accuracy. In zee zee takeoff, you also have the option to use AI to batch rename your plan sheets as well as batch renumbering the sheet numbers. To do this locate the page name callout and drag your mouse over it while holding the left side of your mouse down, then release and select Page Name and All. While we are here, let’s renumber all our plan sheets the same way.
