Undo and Restore Actions in zzTakeoff

Undoing and Restoring Actions in zzTakeoff

You can quickly undo or redo actions using the Undo/Redo arrows located in the top-right corner of the software.

Keyboard Shortcut

For faster workflow, use:

  • Ctrl + Z → Undo your last action
  • Ctrl + Y (or Ctrl + Shift + Z) → Redo an action

When Undo Works (and When It Doesn’t)

Undo is ideal for correcting recent actions, such as:

  • Deleting takeoffs
  • Modifying measurements
  • Adjusting items

However, Undo does not apply to all actions. For example:

  • Deleting pages
  • Deleting entire projects

Need Something Restored?

If you’ve deleted pages, a project, or other major data, the zzTakeoff support team may be able to restore it.

Important: Restoration is typically only possible within 30 days of deletion.
