Using the Arc Tool

Did you know that zzTakeoff has an arc tool that will help you measure curved and circular areas? This easy to use tool can be implemented when you are performing a linear or an area takeoff. To do this start your measurement and be sure to make a point, or click on the beginning of the arc, then in the middle of the arc before you select your next point, select A on your keyboard and that will change the measurement to an arc, and you will see the click arc midpoint call out next to your curser. Now select the midpoint of the arc by adding the arc point then go to the end of the arc with another standard point count.
